Gauhar Jaan (born Angelina Yeoward; 26 June 1873 – 17 January 1930) was an Indian singer and dancer from Kolkata. Popularly known as the gramophone girl, she could possibly be India's first celebrity singer. She was one of the first preferences for audio houses to record music on the then-new 78rpm record in India circa 1902.

Amrit Keshav Nayak (14 April 1877 – 18 July 1907) was a Parsi theatre actor-director, lyricist and Gujarati author. He joined theatre at early age and later directed several plays including adaptations of plays of Shakespeare. He wrote plays and novels also.
